Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers w/ Whiskey Glaze

These Bacon wrapped Jalapeño Poppers are the perfect game day treat! Tasty and delicious! I simply took about six jalapeños, halved them. Stuffed them with cheese and a chicken sausage & cream cheese mixture. I then wrapped them with bacon and baked them in the oven for about 20 minutes. When they came out I drizzled a little whiskey glaze on top and voila…….Yummy poppers!

I decided to wrap some with Prosciutto just to see which one I liked better! Nevertheless, I liked the bacon more!

Whiskey Glaze

1 Tb of butter
1 Tb minced garlic
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1Tb of Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tb of soy sauce
1 ts lime juice
1/4 cup of whiskey

Melt butter on medium high heat in a skillet. Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Bring to a slight slimmer then reduce heat. It should take about 1 minute for the alcohol to cook out and the sauce to thicken. Remove from heat. Serve
